We believe that the best method of persuasion when it comes to making a sale, is to present honest reliable information in a friendly no pressure way.

HARD SELL

is defined as a method of trying very hard to persuade someone

to buy something even if they do not want to

The key part of this definition are the words

even if they do not want to

And that’s the rub. If a sales person has to employ a sales method that forces a person to make a decision “even if they do no want to” then is the decision going to be a good one. We think not.

The most common tactic is to invoke a FEAR of some sort.

The fear that the price is only available for a limited or special time.
